Cindy is the founder of reddotmum.com, a family blog established in 2012.
Its primary purpose was to record a keepsake of home management hacks to inform her children later, when they became adults managing their own homes.
Soon after, the blog also became a reference for home cooks scouting for innovative ways to optimise their existing home appliances to cook healthier food (check out the post on using a slow cooker to make bird nest dessert).
In 2020, the founder registered her business selling educational programmes and professional services as a behavioural coach and counsellor of neurodiverse participants (any age group) supporting with psychological disorders.
Cindy likes to call herself a MUM coach. The letters of MUM stand for ‘Work n Wellness’. From the viewpoint of aging and well-being, a carer’s “Work” will inevitably consist of both ‘life work’ and ‘other employment’, and it is challenging to be in these roles whilst keeping the body healthy (“Wellness”).
RDM supports children, teens, young adults and women wired differently in coaching of executive skills, literacy support in special needs such as dyslexia, and adhd/add.
RDM also facilitates creative writing programmes like guided autobiography to increase well-being and aging self-awareness of its participants. Sessions are personally transformative under Cindy who practises Person-Centred counselling, and being in the well-being groups it is safe to share and discuss, accompanied by didactic instruction when time permits. Meetings are held on Saturday and Sunday mornings online and all ages are welcome!
